My Promise to You

Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me but you can find me on a Professional site called  LinkedIn, Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort and knowledge. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your possible new home, I guarantee that I will give you my very best effort and most accurate report. This I promise you.

Here is just some of my comments from satisfied customers

Thank you for your careful inspection of the house at xxxxx last night. Although there are repairs and updates that clearly need to be completed, we feel a lot more confident buying the house now that we know the issues you found, I can’t believe I considered NOT having an inspection. I will recommend your name to friends and colleagues going through the same process. 🙂

Kevin was very thorough, and I felt comfortable and safe having him inspect my future home. I would recommend him to anyone that I know and he did a fantastic job.

Kevin performed a complete and wide ranging inspection of a roof job gone bad. Excellent knowledge of industry and products.

Kevin did not rush anything, he was very thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Kevin for a house inspection.

Kevin seemed to be very knowledgeable and very thorough. He took his time and did not rush through the inspection. I highly recommend Kevin Wood.

Kevin was great. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I would Definitely recommend Kevin to anyone.

He was very knowledge and helpful during the inspection. He identified areas of concern and suggested cost-effective ways to rectify the problems. He was very professional and courteous. Thank you.

I was very happy with the inspection and report done. It’s easy to follow and overall the job done was great. Very knowledgable.

Very detailed. Hard working. Professional. Best service. Highly recommend.

Although disappointed with the house itself that was inspected, I was very appreciative of Kevin’s thorough explanations and helpful nature. We would definitely recommend / hire Kevin again!

I will say Kevin was a thorough inspector; however, he had lots of “personal” opinions in his report. I currently live in a semi and instead of saying he inspected my windows and writing a comment on the bottom stating they were single pane windows, he put needs replacing when they are only 2 years old, electrical outlets above rads which have been there for 30 years needs to be removed. bedroom doors too close to carpet. Lastly has anyone heard that you need to vent a charcoal overhead fan outside??? My purpose for a home inspection was so that I did not hide stuff from the potential buyers; but it seems Kevins approach to inspections is to attack sillyness….. choose wisely

very good inspector, very through. easy to talk to, very helpful.

Thanks for your professionalism in completing the inspection at . I found your onsight comments to be clear and easily understood. The report provided me with a useful tool to follow up on identified problem areas. I especially like the way that the areas of concern were summarized by trade.

Preparing to sell my house I had you do an inspection to ensure that a buyer would not confront me with a list of problems. I have let a contract for the roof and the contractor has agreed to do pictures of the repairs new flashing’s on the chimney, new vents, etc as you recommended. I have had an electric contractor visit the house who reviewed your report and then commented “. I don’t have much respect for these fellows”. The contractor then inspected the house electrics and then commented “That guy did a good job”. The electricians who came to do everything from fixing the panel to correcting the polarity on several outlets echoed that comment. I will be following up on the plumbing and miscellaneous item you noted before the summer is over. It is reassuring to now be living in a house where the serious electrical problems you noted have been rectified.
